SHORT BIOGRAPHY

 

Martin Nygård Jørgensen (b. 1980) is a skilled arranger working within mainly jazz and popular music. He is frequently working with most Danish orchestras and some of the most notable artists in todays Danish pop music scene.

 

He has arranged music for most Danish orchestras including: The Danish National Orchestra (DR SymfonisOrkestret), Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (UK), Copenhagen Phil, Odense Symphony Orchestra, Aalborg Symphony Orchestra, The Royal Danish Orchestra, and furthermore big bands, string quartets, etc.

 

Martin has worked with amongst other the following artists: Mads Langer, Tim Christensen, MØ, Outlandish, Burhan G, Marie Key, Agnes Obel, Rasmus Seebach, Cæcilie Norby, Shakin' Stevens, Stig Rossen, Nik & Jay and Barbara Moleko.

 

He is furthermore a conductor working with both orchestras and big bands - amongst others Odense Symphony Orchestra, Copenhagen Phil and Nordkraft Big Band.

 

Martin is working mainly with jazz and popular music - but is also working as an orchestrator within film and classical music.

 

Since 2013 Martin has made more than 200 orchestral arrangements - more than half of them has been broadcasted on national television and radio.
